Protect-A-Pets are for use in the home for pets 40lbs and under. This product is for the totally paralyzed pet with no use of the rear limbs. It gives complete rear and chest protection preventing sores and urine infections incurred when pets drag themselves around on the floor. It not only protects your paralyzed pet but it also avoids constant cleaning of floors and carpeting should accidents occur. I find it useful for overnight use as it contains feces and urine. It prevents a small amount of urine leakage, as it has a plastic liner, however you may need to insert a male wrap or diaper if there is a large outflow of urine. Use of a Protect-a-pet makes clean-up in the morning easier as you just need to remove it, hand wash it and rinse off your pet without cleaning up the entire bedding. The Protect-a-pet is made of Rip Stop Nylon with two side zippers is hand washable and dries quickly. Available in BLUE, GREEN and WINE.
