Fully Supportive Cart Description

The Fully Supportive Cart is for the pet with weakness in all four limbs. This cart gives full support to front and rear limbs, while allowing minimal weight bearing on the limbs. Slings are provided for those pets who need either the front or rear paws held up and protected from scraping on the ground.
The Fully Supportive Cart aids with rehabilitation, by keeping your pet in a standing position, allowing for physical therapy and range of motion exercises on all four limbs. In many cases, this fully supportive chair can assist and speed up the rehabilitative process, often returning pets to full mobility. Total recovery, of course, depends on the pet’s medical condition when being placed in the cart.

Helpful Measurement Tips:

  • It is easier if you have someone help you measure your pet.
  • For accurate measurements have your pet stand in a square position (with legs straight down from the shoulders and hips).
  • A yardstick is best for taking measurements A, B, C, E, F, G & H.
  • A cloth tape is best for cart measurement D.
  • When measuring with a cloth tape be sure to hold the tape straight and taut.
  • If you have a large paralyzed dog, you can lay it down on its side with its back straight against a wall and legs extended straight down from the hips and shoulders, and take all measurements this way ‐except D, F, and G which must be taken in a standing position.
