Carts

Over forty years of design experience have gone into making our carts and you can have the confidence of knowing that they have been thoroughly tested on over 35,000 pets.
We make each pet wheelchair to meet the needs of your pet. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality products to support you in caring for your handicapped pet.
If your pet is unable to use its rear legs to support itself and can no longer get around on all four legs, it will benefit greatly from using one of our carts. Please see Evaluating Your Pet for more information.

All of our carts include the following Design Features

  • State of the Art Construction - All of the materials we use are corrosion resistant and will withstand years of tough use.
  • Contouring Stable Pelvic Support - Molds itself to your pet's pelvis for a truly custom fit while providing necessary stable support. The leg rings are made of a soft, flexing, foam ring with a semi-rigid wire core. Our pelvic support system is designed and tested by a Veterinary Orthopedic Surgeon.
  • Flexible Straps – Are made of nylon webbing and covered with soft padding for a contoured fit.
  • Rehabilitative Leg Slings - Allow your pet to move its legs, aiding in rehabilitation. Made of padded webbing, our leg slings protect the paws and are included with every cart.
  • Easy to Adjust – Every cart is height, width and length adjustable for weight bearing and perfect fit. An Allen wrench is included with each cart.
  • Folds Flat to Save Shipping Costs - And assembles in minutes with easy-to-follow instructions and tools provided. We also have qualified staff available to answer your questions.
  • Allows Your Pet to Defecate and Urinate - With this cart design your pet is able to urinate and defecate while in the cart.

Standard Cart

Standard Cart The Standard Cart is used for rear limb weakness. Your pet must have normal strength in the forelimbs, no pain, and the desire to be active. The cart can be used as a walking cart (with rear paws on the ground) or as a non-walking cart (with rear legs held up and protected in slings). Cable leg rings are covered with contoured, dense foam padding to prevent pressure sores and give pelvic support. This cart is an excellent aid for rehabilitation.

The Fully Supportive Cart aids with rehabilitation, by keeping your pet in a standing position, allowing for physical therapy and range of motion exercises on all four limbs. In many cases, this fully supportive chair can assist and speed up the rehabilitative process, often returning pets to full mobility. Total recovery, of course, depends on the pet’s medical condition when being placed in the cart.
